Christian Dior at Printemps
The house of Christian Dior sets apart the traditional mannequins and transports us to a journey of fantasy and glamour through all their collections over time. In the windows of the Printemps department store, a Christmas spirit and many details can be seen in this show that Dior brings. The Poupettes as the fashion house has called them, are small replicas of the most famous styles and designs of Dior, some iconic as the New Look of the 50's and other high fashion. Each Poupette is handmade with embroidered faces, carry small accessories as mini Lady Dior handbags, shoes and headdresses that are characteristic of each collection, they are all in a world where they are skating on ice, flying in balloons, playing in the snow, dancing around the Eiffel Tower, it's really an impossible show to miss.
